Terms of Use
Last Updated: October 26, 2023
Welcome to UK ParcelFind ("us", "we", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at [YourWebsiteURL.com] (the "Site") and the parcel recovery services we offer (the "Services"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site or Services.
By accessing or using the Site and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Site or use the Services.
1. Our Services
UK ParcelFind provides a specialized service to assist individuals in locating and recovering forgotten or lost parcels and property from airports within the United Kingdom. Our Services include, but are not limited to, database searches, liaison with airport authorities and lost property offices, and arrangement for the return of located items.
We act as an intermediary and facilitator. The final decision and process for releasing any lost property remain with the respective airport authorities or their designated lost property handlers.
2. User Accounts and Responsibilities
To use certain features of our Services, you may be required to provide information about yourself and the lost item. You agree that any information you provide will always be accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login information associated with any account you use to access our Services.
You agree to use our Site and Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site and Services. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our Site.
3. Service Fees and Payment
Our Service fees are outlined on our Site, typically in the "Pricing" or "Services" section. Fees are charged for the search, administrative, and liaison efforts undertaken by UK ParcelFind. These fees are separate from any charges that may be levied by airports, airlines, or courier services for the storage, handling, or shipment of recovered items.
All fees for our Services are due upfront unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, but changes will not affect services already paid for. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
4. No Guarantee of Recovery
While UK ParcelFind will make every reasonable effort to locate and facilitate the recovery of your lost item, we do not guarantee that every item will be found or recovered. The success of recovery depends on numerous factors outside of our direct control, including whether the item was handed in, the accuracy of the information provided by you, and the specific procedures of the airport or lost property office involved.
Our service fee is for the effort and process of searching and liaising, not for the successful recovery itself, unless explicitly stated in a specific service package.
5. Intellectual Property
The Site and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of UK ParcelFind and its licensors. The Site is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of UK ParcelFind.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UK ParcelFind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (c) any content obtained from the Services; or (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services, regardless of the form of the action, is limited to the amount you paid, if any, to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
7. Disclaimer

9. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Site and Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
